Camerata Baltimore celebrates the power of music in community with Lift Every Voice: The Spirit of Unity in Black Music. The program pays tribute to the enduring legacy of Black music in America, featuring moving spirituals, timeless anthems, and uplifting gospel classics such as Lift Every Voice and Sing, In Bright Mansions Above, and Excellence is Your Name.
In times of joy and struggle, Black music has been a source of strength and a call to unity, bridging divides and inspiring communities to stand together. This concert is more than a tribute—it is an invitation to come together as one, lifting our voices in harmony to celebrate the beauty and power of collective spirit.
